Linda Richenderfer

Biography

Linda Richenderfer practices in the areas of bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation.  She represents debtors and creditor committees in Chapter 11 cases and serves as trustee's counsel in Chapter 7 matters.  She counsels clients on corporate governance issues and breach of fiduciary duty claims, in addition to handling complex commercial disputes and toxic tort litigation.

Ms. Richenderfer has handled matters in Delaware state and federal court and commercial arbitration disputes.  Recent representations include:
  • Special conflicts committee counsel on insurance coverage issues;
  • Debtor's counsel for facilities - based integrated communications provider that included litigating mechanics lien priority issues involving multiple jurisdictions, installment sales/lease determinations and claims disputes;
  • As both Debtor's and Committee counsel investigated breach of fiduciary duty claims against officers and directors, including a successful multi-million dollar fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent conveyance and breach of contract action against former business owners;
  • Successfully defended cell tower company in multi-million dollar AAA matter resulting in partial award of defense fees; and
  • Representation of majority shareholder in corporate governance/fraud dispute in Delaware Chancery Court.
