Marc H. Stofman concentrates his practice in the litigation of complex commercial disputes involving business torts, trade secret disputes, employment matters and commercial real estate disputes. Mr. Stofman represents individual and corporate clients in the computer software, chemical processing, real estate development and banking industries. Mr. Stofman successfully prosecutes and defends actions at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Recent successful representations include:

  • injunction actions regarding exploitation of trade secrets;
  • damage actions for breach of real estate development contracts;
  • replevin actions regarding computer hardware related to software development contracts;
  • damage actions for breach of brokerage/commission agreements.

In addition, Mr. Stofman represents clients in the commercial lending industry in matters involving complex collection and foreclosure issues, and the defense of lender liability actions. Mr. Stofman also represents debtors, creditors and trustees in litigation in bankruptcy proceedings.

Mr. Stofman's litigation experience includes serving as second chair in trials involving complex commercial and contract disputes, product liability and real estate litigation. Mr. Stofman also has served as first chair in bench trials and arbitrations.
