Teri Sherman’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in the state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.  With a strong background in business litigation, Ms. Sherman brings a practical, results-oriented approach to resolving sophisticated matters.  She has represented global financial institutions and regional and national businesses in merger and acquisition disputes, internal investigations, securities litigation and derivative suits, copyright and patent infringement and misappropriation of trade secret claims, professional malpractice, and employment and breach of fiduciary duty matters, many of which involved complex electronic discovery issues.

Ms. Sherman joined the firm after practicing law in New York City at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.  As a law student, Ms. Sherman served as a research assistant to Neal Katyal, former Acting Solicitor General of the United States, with whom she worked on two matters pending before the United States Supreme Court.  Ms. Sherman was also an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.
